Fishing Report 1/22/2022 - Limits of Trout Under Birds in Galveston Bay
This week's fishing report is provided by Mark Gonzales. Check out his IG at @3rdcoastanglers. This report is for the Upper Galveston Bay area. Mark got in the water by 9:30 am and fished until 3:30 pm. Water clarity was slightly stained with visibility to about 3ft. and water temperature around 45 degrees. Mark was able to hit the minor feeding period and part of the major feeding period on an outgoing tide. Fishing Report 1/15/2022 - Limits of Trout in Galveston Bay
This week's fishing report is provided by our buddy Tim J. Chapman In the Galveston Bay complex (spot undisclosed haha) trout were hot on soft plastics. Water quality was good at 1-2 ft. visibility. Trout were holding in 6-8ft. of water over sandy guts. The most effective lure color was black and gold. Slow rolling on the bottom was the best retrieval style. Fishing Report 1/8/2022 - Not Many Redheads, A Handful Of Keeper Trout, And A Few Reds
This past weekend we had a squad of folks head down to fish and duck hunt in Port Aransas/Aransas Pass. The weather didn't cooperate, with lots of heavy fog and rain causing the ducks to stay low. Low visibility impeded ducks from finding spreads. Not many birds were shot, and those that were shot randomly flew over the spread and were taken by pass shooting.
