Where and How to Fish the "Terrebonne Special"
The Flex Mullet "Terrebonne Special" was born in the pluff mud of Louisiana. Hence, muddy water is where this color thrives. There are several ways to rig the Flex Mullet "Terrebonne Special". 1) fish it with a standard jighead. The Texas Rattler jig heads are an excellent choice. Check them out here. The "Terrebonne Special" provides the thump and vibration and the Texas Rattler provides the noise. Traditional jig heads are great when you're fishing non-grassy, mixed mud/shell; 2) fish it with a weedless underspin. The Owner Flashy Swimmer is bomb! Check them out here. Straight retrieve along marsh grass edges, over shallow seagrass flats, or over oyster beds. The weedless setup is great for dense oysters or thick grass.
